These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") apply to your use of our website (www.tabernafoliasdebaco.com), services, and any interactions with Taberna Folias de Baco ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by our T&C and Privacy Police.

We operate as a Folias de Baco Unipessoal Lda, located at Rua dos Caldeireiros, 136, 4050-138, Porto, Portugal. Our services include dining, and other bistro-related activities.

1. Agreement


By accessing and using our websites and services you are confirming that:

  • By accessing and using our websites and services you are confirming that you have understood and agreed to our Terms and Conditions, along with the subsequent Privacy Policy. Some areas of this website may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which you should read carefully before making any use of those areas. Such additional terms (e.g. specific terms from our online table reservation service provider) are supplemental to these T&C and will not change or replace these T&C.

  • By accessing and using our websites and services you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old, or under the adult supervision who is at least 18 years of age, in which case the adult is deemed the actual user of our services and will hold all responsibility.

  • You have the legal, mental, physical - right, power, and authority to agree to these T&C.

  • When making a reservation, you agree to provide accurate information.

2. Reservations

  • You can make table reservations online, by phone or in person. We do not take reservations by email or messages by social media platforms (e.g. Instagram or Facebook).

  • Reservations can be made up to four weeks in advance. 

  • To make a reservation, you may be required to provide your name, email address, phone number, and any relevant dietary preferences.

  • We will send an email confirmation for reservations made online. For reservations made by phone or in person, we will confirm at the time of booking.

  • You are restricted to booking one reservation for your personal use per meal time (2 hours). You can reserve tables for 1 – 4 people. We don’t split groups bigger than four people into different tables.

  • Once a reservation has been created and confirmed you will honour the reservation by arriving on time, or otherwise notifying us of any late or reservation terminations.

  • You can edit/cancel your reservation by contacting us. If reserved through our online reservation service, you can edit/cancel your reservations following the link in the reservation confirmation email/SMS that you may potentially receive after confirming your initial reservation. All attempts will be made to accommodate your changes, however, note that we might not always be able to accommodate these changes due to capacity, time, or other resource constraints.

  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances (see "Force Majeure" section below). 

  • By providing your contact information to us, you are agreeing to receive updates and alerts regarding your reservation. Please check out our Privacy Policy page.


3. Cancellations and Missed Reservations

  • You can cancel your reservation by contacting us at least 24 hours.

  • You agree that we have the authority to terminate your reservation if you have not checked in 15 minutes past your scheduled reservation time - unless otherwise stated. As a result, it is best to contact us directly for any pending delays.

  • If made online, you can check specific terms of our service provider for cancellations and missed reservations.


4. Force Majeure


We will not be liable for any delay or cancellation of your reservation due to events beyond our reasonable control, commonly referred to as "Force Majeure." These events may include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods, hurricanes);

  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest;

  • Labour strikes or other industrial action;

  • Public health emergencies (e.g., pandemics);

  • Utility outages or other unforeseen circumstances that render our establishment inoperable;

In the event of a Force Majeure event that affects your reservation, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and attempt to reschedule your reservation or offer an alternative solution.

5. Payment

We do not accept online payments through our website. Payments will be handled directly at our establishment.

6. Liability Disclaimer


By accessing or using our website, you agree that your use is at your own risk. We do not guarantee that the website will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. While we make efforts to maintain and update our website, we cannot be held responsible for any of the following:

  • Technical Issues (e.g. interruptions, errors, or malfunctions on the website, including server downtimes, glitches, or other technical difficulties);

  • Inaccuracies (e.g. incorrect or outdated information, typographical errors, or misrepresentations found on the website. We reserve the right to correct errors and make changes to the website at any time without prior notice);

  • Unauthorised Actions by Third Parties (e.g. any unauthorised access, data breaches, hacking, or other malicious activities conducted by third parties, including but not limited to viruses, malware, or ransomware);
